Social influence occurs when a person's emotions, opinions, or behaviors are affected by others. Social influence takes many forms and can be seen in conformity, socialization, peer pressure, obedience, leadership, persuasion, sales, and marketing.

HOW TO INFLUENCE OTHERS AS  A LEADER?


1)VISIBLE – Exceptional leaders are seen, not just heard. Too many leaders today fail because they are too busy to be seen. 

2)MANNERS-Manners are a form of nonverbal communication and when we are in the presence of a gracious host or a leader with good manners, it is attractive and rewarding

3)GAZE- Eye contact that is direct, engaging, and steady is highly endearing. Effective leaders engage others by making steady eye contact that is welcoming and which shows interest

4)VOICE- Influential leaders have learned that a deeper resonating voice makes a big difference and the research backs that up

5)TOUCH- Even in this day and age influential leaders employ touch. Not to harass or patronize and certainly not in a sexual way, but within the social norms of society that say, “I care.”

IN CONCLUSION ,INFLUENCE IS A VERY IMPORTANT SKILL THAT SHOULD INHERIT BY THE SOCIETY ESPEACIALLY ALL THE LEADERS.WE CAN ALWAYS INFLUENCE PEOPLE IN  A POSITIVE WAY.
